Meet Our Art Students

A few Livingstone High School learners were invited to represent our school at a workshop hosted by the CPUT Design Department where they learned to hone in on their artistic abilities.

This workshop allowed our learners to be exposed to different career possibilities in the Design field.

The workshop was very informative and gave our learners the chance to express their personalities through their artwork.

My Experience

My Experience at CPUT was interesting and fun. The campus is really beautiful and filled with many artworks made by the students at the University.

I learnt amazing things at the workshop, they taught me how to photoshop and edit things. I really enjoyed the day and I am grateful for the experience and the opportunity to have been a part of this workshop.

The Workshop at CPUT was lovely as we got to experience the campus and the different design departments and all its opportunities.

It was so much fun and it was amazing to get a taste of Graphic Design.

Saturday at CPUT was a great learning experience for the creative group that attended. The things we learned were useful if you wish to focus on design. The people I met were very kind and helpful.

The Workshop was a fun learning opportunity and helped me learn more about the different photoshop and editing apps. The Design Department allows you the freedom to express yourself through art, however you would like, and encourages you while you do.

My Experience

Going to CPUT on Saturday actually helped with my decision to go apply at the University after High School. While I was there, I learned many different things about the University and the subjects they offer. Students are allowed to express themselves freely and I love that. I also feel that it has one of the best art facilities I have ever seen.
